ARI propone e promuove un riconoscimento denominato:
GRANBREVETTO BRM/ARI . L' ITALIA DEL GRAND TOUR
L’Italia del Grand Tour (IGT) è un Gran Brevetto ARI costituito da quattro randonnée over 1200 km che si svolgono ciascuna ogni 4 anni.
Possono partecipare tutti i ciclisti italiani e stranieri secondo i regolamenti BRM ed ARI attualmente in vigore. Coloro che otterranno l’omologazione nei quattro brevetti saranno premiati con il massimo diploma ed onorificenza denominato “GRAN RANDONNEUR D’ITALIA”. I brevetti possono essere ottenuti nel tempo e non necessariamente in sequenza.
L’avventura per conseguire il Gran Brevetto può iniziare da qualsiasi brevetto dei 4. Dopo la 1001 Miglia la sfida prosegue con la 999 Miglia del 2017, le Alpi 4000 del 2018 e la 6+6 Isole del 2019 e con il ciclo che avrà di nuovo inizio nel 2020.
Con la 999 è stata introdotta anche un ulteriore formule di partecipazione:
- il Brevetto BRI, da concludere in un tempo massimo più ampio del brevetto BRM.
A tutti coloro che otterrano l’omologazione nelle due formule Brevetto BRM e BRI verrà consegnato:
- il diploma del “Randonneur d’Italia BRM e Randonneur d’Italia BRM".

Regolamento
Art.1) ARI, in relazione allo sviluppo presente e futuro in atto nel movimento del ciclismo turistico per il settore brevetti randonnée, promuove, secondo quanto previsto dall’art.7 dello Statuto, il “ GRANBREVETTO l’ITALIA DEL GRAND TOUR”.
Art.2) Il Granbrevetto IGT è riservato ai randonneurs italiani ed è aperto anche ai ciclisti di altre nazioni.
Art.3) I brevetti randonnée inseriti nel Grand Tour hanno una distanza non inferiore a 1200 km e sono organizzati da ASD aderenti all’ARI:
- 2016 (agosto): 1001 Miglia
- 2017 (luglio): 999 Miglia
- 2018 (luglio): Alpi 4000
- 2019 (giugno): Isole 6+6
- 2020/2023: inizia di nuovo il ciclo
Art.4) I randonneurs che intendono conseguire la massima onorificenza di GRAN RANDONNEUR D’ITALIA devono ottenere l’omologazione nei 4 brevetti previsti dall’art.3) anche se non completati in sequenza.
Art.5) I randonneurs che optano per la formula brevetto BRI possono, con le stesse modalità, ottenere il diploma di “CICLOSPORTIVO D’ITALIA”.
Art.6) ARI verifica l’esatta corrispondenza delle omologazioni conseguite e delibera il riconoscimento tramite riscontro documentale del numero di omologazione ottenuto dal ciclista al termine di ogni brevetto.
Art.7) La consegna delle onorificenze e dei diplomi è effettuata con il Meeting d’Autunno del 2019 ed a seguire negli anni successivi.
Art.8) ARI si riserva la facoltà di effettuare necessarie modifiche al presente regolamento nel caso di variazioni relative al calendario annuale e comunque lasciando inalterato lo spirito ed il valore sportivo del Granbrevetto IGT.

The Grand Tour (IGT) is a Great Patent ARI and consists of four randonnée over 1200km that takes place over a 4 year period in Italy. It is open to all Italian and foreign cyclists in accordance with the BRM ARI and regulations currently in force. Those who manage to complete the four stages will be rewarded with the highest degree and honor called “Grand Randonneur of Italy”.
Stages may be completed during any time and not necessarily in sequence. The adventure to achieve the Grand Patent can start from any of the 4 stages. The challenge has begun with the 1001 Miglia in 2016 and will continue with the 999 Miglia in 2017; the Alpi 4000 in 2018; the 6 + 6 Isole in 2019; again in 1001 Miglia in 2020; the 999 Miles in 2021 with others to follow.
Regulation
Art.1 ARI, in relation to the present and future development taking place in the tourism cycling movement for Stages randonnée, promotes, as provided by Article 7 of the Statute, the recognition called "Grandbrevetto Italy of the great Tour".
Art.2 The Granbrevetto IGT is held in reserve for Italian Randonneurs and it is also open to cyclists of other Countries.
Art.3 The randonnée certificate that allow such recognition have a minimum distance of 1200km, are listed here below and will be repeated every four years.
* 2016 (August): 1001 miles
* 2017 (June): 999 miles
* 2018 (July): Alpi 4000
* 2019 (June): Isole 6 + 6
* 2020 (August): 1001 miles
* 2021 (June): 1001 miles
* 2022 (July): Alpi 4000
* 2023 (June): Isole 6 + 6
Art.4 The Randonneur who intends to achieve this recognition can start from any of the 4 Stages and get recognition even if the certificate are not completed sequentially.
Art.5 The ‘diploma-onorificienza di Gran Randonneur’ will be issued to all those who obtain the approval in the 4 planned Stages from Italy on the Grand Tour (without limitation of time length).
Art.6 ARI verifies the exact correspondence of approvals obtained by the cyclist and deliberates the recognition through documentary acknowledgment of the approval number obtained from the cyclist at the end of each certificate.
Art.7 Handing over of the first personalised ‘‘diploma-onorificienza’ will be carried out with the awards sponsored by ARI during the autumn meetings of 2019 and will be held for the newly certified at that meeting each year.
Art.8 Based on any changes to the calendars ARI reserves the right to make the necessary changes to this Regulation maintaining the spirit and the value of Granbrevetto of Italy on the Grand Tour.
