Un Raid in completa autosufficienza , ogni partecipante avrà a disposizione una traccia Gps che gli permetterà di seguire tutto il percorso in maniera dettagliata. La partenza sarà dalla città eterna... Roma... avremo la possibilità di vedere molti dei tanti siti archeologici della capitale, poi lasciata la città percorreremo la via Francigena che ci condurrà in Toscana passando per la Val d'Orcia e Siena, attraversando il Chianti fino a Firenze...valicheremo gli Appennini fino a Bologna attraverso la via degli Dei e poi lungo la via del Sole attraverseremo la verde Pianura Padana passando da Valeggio su Mincio per approdare alle porte del Trentino sul lago di Garda......l'arrivo sarà nella capitale mondiale della Mountain Bike....Torbole, durante il BIKE FESTIVAL !
Una avventura da affrontare senza fermarsi e dormendo per strada nel vero spirito randagio (randoneurs) o più tranquillamente concedendosi delle soste lungo il percorso.
L'organizzazione fornirà una serie di strutture convenzionate sia per pernottare che per mangiare, l'importante che tutto si svolga in completa autosufficienza, naturalmente non ci saranno controlli se non la traccia gps finale che ogni partecipante invierà agli organizzatori e che gli darà diritto al diploma e al premio di finisher.
Il Raid sarà circa 850km e 15000m D+

An unsupported route ... each participant is supplied with a GPS track for the whole route. The rest is up to you; how many KM’s per day, where to stop and eat, where to sleep etc. A self sufficient ride, with no outside help starting from the Eternal City, Rome, with the opportunity to pass by many of the most important archaeological sites in and around the capital; riding on the Old FrancigenaWay towards Tuscany, passing through the Val d’Orcia and Siena, enjoying the breathtaking Chianti countryside to Florence.
Crossing over the Appennines up to Bologna along the way of the Gods, then along the way of the Sun throughout the green Po Valley and passing through Valeggio sul Mincio and Mantova, passing by the shores of Garda Lake to the finish line in Torbole, the temple of Mountain Bike! During the BIKE FESTIVAL!
An adventure to be faced in the most pure wild spirit (randonneurs) without stopping, sleeping in the street or simply pausing along the way thanks to the accommodation facilities - both for eating and sleeping - the organisation will provide you.
The event takes place in complete autonomy, with no controls but the final GPS track from each participant must be sent to the organisers to get the finishers certificate and award.
The route is almost fixed at roughly 850km with more than 15000m of climbing.
